  1. General Pork Chop suggestion: Wet brine them for 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in salty water before cooking them. It makes them more tender and less likely to dry out. Put 4 tablespoons of salt into a bowl with one quart of water, add chops in a single layer. Do this. You’ll be glad you did.

  2. [**Keto Pork Chops with Super Creamy Mushroom Sauce**](



    6 pork chops about 1 inch thick
    2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
    2 tbsp unsalted butter
    2 cups fresh mushrooms
    1 cup heavy whipping cream
    2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
    1 tbsp thyme fresh or dried
    5 garlic cloves minced
    salt and pepper to taste



    1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and olive oil.
    2. Once the butter is melted, add the pork chops and season with salt and pepper. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the edges are golden brown.
    3. Remove the pork chops. In the same skillet saute the mushrooms, garlic, thyme, and parsley. Cook for about 2-3 minutes stirring constantly.
    4. Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
    5. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.
    6. Add the pork chops back to the pan and cover with the creamy sauce.
    7. Cover the skillet and let them cook for another 5-6 minutes until tender.
    8. Transfer to a plate and serve hot with a side of cauliflower mashed potatoes or steamed beans. Garnish with more fresh parsley, if desired.

  3. I make these about once a week now! Soooo yummy, and I like that I can let them simmer on very low until my family is all ready to eat. I’ll throw in spinach or tomatoes as well, depending on what I have.
    Lately I’ve found porkchops at .97 a lb again!

    Add white wine to the pan after saute chops. Then add butter and seasonings and then cream. Sauce will be so much more rich in flavor

  10. I am trying to get back to keto, and I’ve made this in the past except instead of chops I cut up a pork tenderloin into medallions. So juicy and tender. Thanks for the inspiration!
