  3. Chocolate Bars

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup shredded cacao butter

    • 2 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

    • Pinch of salt

    • Sugar substitute = 1 cup sugar

    • 1/4 cup peanut butter

    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

    Optional Ingredients:

    • Roasted almonds

    • Dry roasted peanuts

    • Macadamia nuts

    Makes ~21 bars

    Per Bar (without nuts):

    51 calories / 5.08g fat / 0.52g net carbs / 1.36g Protein

    Directions:

    1. Line an 8×8 or 9×7 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

    2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the cacao butter. Stir in the cocoa powder and mix till incorporated. Mix in a pinch of salt and the sugar substitute. Add peanut butter and mix until combined. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla extract.

    3. Pour into baking dish and add any optional nuts to the top. Let cool. Finish setting in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

    4. Remove from baking dish and cut in to pieces.

    5. Store in the refrigerator.
