  1. Just made it. Absolutely delicious, satisfying, and sweet enough. I used regular semi-sweet chocolate chips, but everything else was as stated.

  2. I used to make the same with regular oatmeal. Dark chocolate (or chocolate whey protein) & natural peanut butter.

    I’ll have to try this out!

  4. This looks so good. I’ve never used TVP (but do eat a lot of meat substitutes). Does this text take the flavor of whatever you put in it? And is it kind of like an oatmeal feel in your mouth?

  7. TVP is a lot like oatmeal or grits. It’s as sweet or savoury as you like it.

    **Basic Recipe:** *makes 3 (three) cups*

    1 (one) cup dry TVP
    2 (two) cups boiling water
    Pinch salt (optional)

    Place TVP into large bowl then cover it with boiling water. Add a pinch of salt if you like. Mix well and let it sit for 5 (five) minutes.

    Mix in whatever your heart desires. Enjoy! ♡ Granny

    PS: Peanut butter with a good maple syrup substitute is an excellent combination that I can’t recommend enough. PB and sugar free honey is another super tasty treat.
