    * 12 jalapeno peppers medium-sized
    * 8 oz. cream cheese room temperature
    * 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
    * 1/4 cup green onions chopped
    * 12 bacon slices regular cut
    * 1/2 tsp salt
    * 1/2 tsp black pepper
    * 1/2 tsp onion powder


    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C and line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.
    2. Prepare the Jalapenos: Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and use a small spoon to scoop out the seeds and membranes.
    3. Make the cheese filling mixture: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onion, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    4. Assemble the jalapeno poppers: Fill each jalapeno with the cheese mixture.
    5. Cut the bacon in half and tightly wrap each jalapeno pepper.
    6. Bake: Place the peppers on the baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until bacon looks crispy and browned.
    7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
