  1. This reminds me, I told myself earlier when I got home I’d treat myself to some maple whip cream out of the spray can. 1 gram carb. No cooking, chopping, mixing.

  2. It’s lower carb, but it doesn’t belong in this keto sub when one portion uses or exceeds all of your net carbs for the day.

OP mentioned that half a (very small) apple will fit into keto, but that’s ignoring the carbs in all the rest of the ingredients.

The rule for this sub is 10g or less per serving. It’s frustrating to come here for keto ideas and find out they’re not.

  3. 95% of the recipes I post on Instagram are keto-friendly: [https://www.instagram.com/candida.journey/](https://www.instagram.com/candida.journey/)

    [Blog post](https://ellavatedhealth.com/index.php/2021/11/05/single-serve-air-fryer-apple-pie-crisp/) if you prefer.

    The main event:

**edit since apples are not very keto-friendly (my bad I didn’t know!)**

The original recipe uses half an apple, to fit into your 10g carb/serving only use 1/4 of the apple, net carbs for the serving will then be about 10g. Or, you can still use half the apple and just split into two servings for yourself and net carbs will be even lower at about 7g/serving.

    Ingredients:

    Filling:

    1 apple of choice

1 tbsp granulated sweetener (I liked allulose for this but whatever you prefer works)

1/4 tsp psyllium husk (optional but will improve texture and add some fiber)

1 tbsp vegan butter (can use coconut oil but vegan butter preferred here, or real butter if you eat dairy)

    1/4 tsp cinnamon

    1 tbsp coconut flour

    Crumble:

    2 tbsp almond flour

1/2 tbsp melted vegan butter (or coconut oil easier to sub here)

    1/2 tsp dairy free milk

    1 tbsp granulated sweetener

    1/8 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp chopped walnuts (completely optional)

    Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer to 375 Degrees F (can also probably easily make in your oven/microwave if you don’t have and air fryer).

Cut apple into slices then cubes. Fill a ramekin or small baking safe container ~3/4 full of apple pieces. If you have one large apple you can make two servings, if it’s a small apple you will probably use about 3/4 of the slices for one serving but could always adjust as needed.

Sprinkle in sweetener, cinnamon, coconut flour, and psyllium husk. Mix with a spoon in the ramekin. It should all cook together nicely so don’t worry too much about getting an even coating. Slice the tbs of butter and lie it on top of the coated apple pieces.

Mix together all the ingredients for the crumble. You want it to have a nice crumply texture. If it’s too dry, add another tiny splash of milk.

Spoon the crumple on top of your dish and spread around evenly.

Cook in the air fryer for 5 minutes. I would check the top at 5 minutes and if it’s started to brown you’re good to go.

Top with ice cream, walnuts, or my newly released 3-ingredient caramel which is perfect for this!
