  1. One thing I can **strongly** recommend if you like tofu: Try paneer. Paneer is an Indian grillable (non-melting) cheese, somewhat similar in texture to tofu, and can be used in the same ways as tofu.

    Personally, I think it tastes even better than tofu (and I already like tofu a lot). And, factually, it consist of about 25% protein. That’s as much as chicken breast, and twice as much as regular tofu, so pretty neat.

    If you never tried paneer, I *implore* you to give it a try! 🙂

  2. A few extra steps to get really good fried tofu:

    1. Press out the moisture. You can get a tofu press, or just cut it up into 1″ cubes, put a clean towel under the cubes and on top, then put a cutting board on top and weigh it down with ~15lbs. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
    2. If you freeze/thaw/press, you’ll get a more meaty texture.

    * 5.3g of fat
    * 10g of protein
    * <1g of net carbs

  3. Ungh, it just deleted my recipe while I navigated away on mobile.

    Sliced firm tofu.
    Medium hot skillet.
    Avocado oil.
    Fry 3-5 min.
    *flip*
    Add cheese (literally use whatever, I used process).
    NOT SHOWN: I like either cilantro or basil here.
    Plate, add salt and pepper, sriracha and cucumber sauce or ranch.

  4. People just forget about tofu for some reason. Just fried, coated with butter (vegan or animal, your choice) and sprinkled with salt to taste. You can eat it all day.

  5. Two questions:

    1) How does one get sick of eggs?

    2) How the fuck is tofu keto?
