  1. Easy recipe to get more omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acids (ALA) and soluble fibre in your diet!

    1 egg

    1 tsp vanilla

    40 gm flaxseed (linseed) meal (4 Tbsp)

    Dash of cream/ nut milk

    1/2 tsp baking powder

    Pinch salt

    1 tsp sweetener

    Optional add ins: cinnamon, berries, chocolate chips

    Mix together in a mug. Microwave for 60-90 seconds

    Estimated base recipe macros without add ins:
    Calories: 290
    Protein: 13.9
    Fat: 23.1
    Net carbs: 1.5

  2. How fine is your meal? I have whole flax seeds, as I’ve heard flax meal oxidizes quickly, but I’m not sure how fine to blitz it.

  3. Thanks for sharing, this was great! The texture is very satisfying, reminding me of B&M Brown Bread. I subbed 10g of psyllium for 10g of the flax seed. The flavor was a little bland, even with added cinnamon, so I’ll have to do some more tweaks, but overall I like this much better than the Almond or Coconut flour quick breads.
