    1 egg

    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    pinch of salt and pepper

    1 hot dog

    1/4-1/2 cup chili (be careful with store bought varieties and hidden/miscalculated carbs)

    Additional toppings as desired


    1. Cut hotdog equally into 4 sections length wise

    2. Slice up the entire hotdog into small slices

    3. Mix 1 egg, 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small container.

    4. Once properly mixed add hotdog pieces and stir lightly to get everything mixed together well

    5. Add 1/2 of the batter to your dash mini waffle maker (you can use any type of waffle maker that you have but it may be a different size and you may have to adjust the amount of batter you add)

    6. Cook until desired doneness, usually 5 minutes or so

    7. Remove chaffle from iron and place it on a plate

    8. Top chaffle with chili and other desired ingredients and then top everything with shredded cheddar cheese

    9. Microwave chaffle for 1 minute to melt cheese

    10. Let cool a bit (it will be hot coming out of the microwave) and enjoy!
