    Ingredients

    ============

    5 medium size Potatoes

    Water as per requirement

    1 teaspoon Salt

    1/2 tablespoon Ghee ( Clarified Butter )

    2 tablespoons Kasuri Methi ( Dry Fenugreek leaves )

    1/2 cup Hung Curd

    2 tablespoons roasted Besan ( Gram Flour )

    1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

    1 teaspoon Cumin powder

    1 teaspoon Dry Mango powder (Amchur)

    1 teaspoon Garam Masala

    1/2 teaspoon Salt

    1/2 teaspoon Ginger, Garlic and Green Chili paste

    2 tablespoons Kashmiri Red Chili powder

    1 teaspoon Mustard Oil

    Small quantity Refined Oil

    Preparation steps

    =================

    Boil 5 medium size Potatoes. Add Potatoes in pressure cooker.

    Add Water in cooker.

    Add 1 teaspoon Salt in cooker.

    Boil Potato till 1 whistle of cooker.

    Peel off skin of boiled Potato.

    Cut boiled Potato in middle for 4 equal pieces.

    Add 1/2 tablespoon Ghee ( Clarified Butter ) in a serving spoon.

    Add 2 tablespoons Kasuri Methi ( Dry Fenugreek leaves ) in the Ghee.

    Heat the Kasuri Methi and Ghee mixture till the smoky smell comes out. This will give smoky flavor to the Tandoori Potato.

    Next prepare marination masala. Add 1/2 cup Hung Curd in a glass bowl.

    Add 2 tablespoons roasted Besan ( Gram Flour ) in the Curd.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder.

    Add 1 teaspoon Cumin powder.

    Add 1 teaspoon Dry Mango powder (Amchur).

    Add 1 teaspoon Garam Masala.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon Salt.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon Ginger, Garlic and Green Chili paste.

    Add 2 tablespoons Kashmiri Red Chili powder.

    Mix well.

    Add 1 teaspoon Mustard Oil in the masala and mix well.

    Add boiled Potato in the marination masala and mix.

    Add Kasuri Methi and Ghee mixture, mix well and cover for 10 minutes.

    After 10 minutes, skew marinated Potato in the skewer and place on baking tray.

    Pre heat Oven for 10 minutes at 200 degree Celsius.

    After 10 minutes pre heat, place baking tray in middle rack and bake Potato for 10 minutes at 200 degree Celsius.

    After 10 minutes baking, take out Potato from oven.

    Brush Refined Oil on Potato.

    Pre heat Oven again for 10 minutes at 200 degree Celsius.

    After 10 minutes pre heat, place baking tray in top rack and bake Potato for 10 minutes at 200 degree Celsius.

    After 10 minutes baking, Tandoori Potato is ready.
