    Ingredients

    ===========

    6 medium size Onions

    1/2 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon of Salt

    1 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon of Cumin powder

    1/2 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon of Red Chili powder

    1/2 teaspoon + 1/2 teaspoon of Garam Masala

    1 tablespoon of Dry Mango powder

    2 medium size Tomato

    2 Garlic pieces

    1 Ginger piece

    2 whole Green Chilis

    2 tablespoons + 2 tablespoons Refined Oil

    1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder

    1 teaspoon of Coriander powder

    1 tablespoon of crushed Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek)

    2 tablespoons of beaten Yogurt

    1/2 cup water

    Preparation steps

    =================

    For this recipe, use 6 medium size Onions. Make cross on the Onions.

    Prepare the spice mix for stuffing. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Salt in a bowl.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Cumin powder.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon of Red Chili powder.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon of Garam Masala.

    Add 1 tablespoon of Dry Mango powder.

    Mix the spices.

    Stuff the Onions with spice mix.

    Next prepare vegetable paste for curry using 2 medium size Tomato, 2 Garlic pieces, 1 Ginger piece, 2 whole Green Chilis.

    Paste is done.

    Next fry the Onions. Add 2 tablespoons (Approx.) Refined Oil in kadai.

    Shallow fry the Onions.

    Onions are fried.

    Next prepare the curry. Add 2 tablespoons(Approx) Refined Oil in kadai.

    Add the vegetable paste in Oil and stir.

    Add 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Cumin powder.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Coriander powder.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Red Chili powder.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Salt.

    Stir continuously.

    Add 1 tablespoon of crushed Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek).

    Add 2 tablespoons of beaten Yogurt and mix well.

    Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.

    Add fried Onions and mix properly with gravy.

    Cover lid and cook for 5 minutes.

    After 5 minutes, open the lid and add 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala.

    Onion Curry is ready for serving.
