    Serves two with 2 net carbs per serving.

    If you like asparagus, I’m sure you will like this easy, quick side-dish. Bacon wrapped with a crispy coating and it only takes 13 minutes to bake in the air fryer. Serve with spicy garlicky aioli sauce to compliment the crispy coated asparagus.

    **Ingredients:**

    7 asparagus stocks per person, cleaned

    2 strips of bacon

    1 TBSP balsamic vinegar

    ⅛ cup Carbalose flour or almond flour

    1 egg beaten

    ⅛ cup parmesan cheese, shaker is ok

    ⅛ cup crushed pork rinds

    Toothpicks

    Basting brush

    **Directions:**

    Make aioli sauce and rest in the fridge.

    Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees.

    Wrap the bacon around 7 stalks of asparagus, pinning the bacon with toothpicks securely.

    Mix pork rinds and parmesan well in a bowl.

    Brush asparagus and bacon with balsamic vinegar.

    Dredge in flour and shake off the excess.

    Dip in beaten egg mixture or brush on.

    Roll the asparagus in the parm/pork rind mixture to coat.

    Spray air fryer basket with oil.

    Place coated asparagus in the air fryer and bake for 12-15 minutes or until cooked.

    You can cook this in the oven or on the grill if you like.

    Use tongs if you need to rotate, don’t shake the basket.

    Serve with aioli sauce on the side.

    **Aioli Sauce:**

    **Ingredients:**

    2 cloves of garlic, smashed into a paste.

    1/2 cup keto friendly mayonnaise.

    A wedge of fresh squeezed lemon juice.

    A pinch of cayenne pepper and salt to taste.

    **Directions:**

    Mix the aioli ingredients in a bowl and rest in the fridge for 2 hours to let the flavors meld.

    Stir before serving.
