    Disclaimer:

    I am new to keto so if there is something that doesn’t fit the keto lifestyle please correct me.

    Everything you see on the plate has been made for my family of two adults, one 6 yr old, and 1 yr old.
    (Edit: my kids and husband are not keto they had a side of pasta.)

    Ingredients:

    1/2 – 1 head of cauliflower
    (I had some leftover cauliflower I just roasted it’s a good way to breathe life into cooked vegetables instead of just microwaving it)

    1 bunch asparagus

    2 & 1/2 handfuls of sage leaves (fresh not dried)

    4 pork bratwurst sausages

    2 cups olive oil for coating vegetables and frying sage

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe:

    Preheat oven to 200°c / 392°F

    Wash cauliflower cut into generous chunks drizzle olive oil and toss. Place on sheet pan lined with aluminum foil.

    Wash asparagus, remove stem ends where dry, toss in olive oil and place on sheet pan with cauliflower.

    Remove bratwurst from package (I used high quality pork bratwurst) place on sheet pan along side asparagus and cauliflower.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Cook until asparagus begins to slightly wilt and turn brown, you will remove these and keep the cauliflower and bratwurst in oven to cook longer (however if you desire you may remove vegetables sooner for a crunchier texture). Remove cauliflower and bratwurst once browned.

    Sage chips:
    wash and pat dry sage leaves. In a small saucepan pour olive oil (you dont need too much we will shallow fry here).
    Heat to a medium high setting, be sure not to make your oil too hot or it will burn.
    Once oil is heated place a handful of leaves in pan, be careful it will splash. Once leaves have curled and popping slows remove from pan place on paper towel (I use a wire rack & paper towel). Add a friendly dusting of salt.
