Fried Cheese Curds

Download It’s a bit of a Canadian delicacy, but this would TOTALLY work for some mozzarella sticks too!

1 pack cheese curds (about 200g in the pack I had)

Dry ingredients

1/2 cup almond flour

Sponser

1/3 cup unflavoured whey protein isolate

1/4 cup grated parmesan

Wet ingredients

2 egg whites

1 Tbsp Heavy Cream

1 Tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

1) in a medium bowl mix the dry ingredients together

2) in a separate bowl whisk the wet ingredients together (just until its well combined)

3) take a cheese curds, dip it in the wet

4) transfer to the dry and thoroughly coat

5) dip the same bit into the wet again and then recoat in the dry…. basically double coat each piece.

6) transfer to a plate and repeat the process until you’ve coated all the cheese curds

7) stick the plate in the freezer for at least 30 mins (longer if possible)

8) heat a frying pan with about an inch of your oil of choice (I went for avocado)

9) fry the now frozen coated curds on each side until brown, should be like 2 to 3 mins in total.

10) drain them and eat them all and love every single bite…..

You could try it with cheese strings or any little cheeses that melt nicely!
