Low Budget Recipe: Easy Candied Sweet Potato Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large sweet potato
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 stick butter(or may use I can’t believe it’s not Butter)

Directions:
1. Add butter, brown and white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla extract. Cook on medium-low heat until the sugar caramelizes and melted.
2. Add sweet potatoes, mix it well so it will be covered with the caramelized sugar. Cover and cook until sweet potato is tender, no stirring needed.

This is very traditional in Mexico, it’s also made with pumpkin it’s delicious.
