  1. My understanding is that this is traditionally done with ground pork, not pork belly, right? Although let’s be very clear, the pork belly version is just that much better. Cause. Yknow. Pork belly.

    Ingredients
    300 g Pork Belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
    35 g Holy or thai basil, leaves
    10 Dried chili
    15 g Garlic
    1/4 tpsp Sugar
    1 tpsp Fish sauce
    1 tpsp Oyster Sauce
    1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
    Directions
    – Use a mortar and pestle to pound the Dried chillies, garlic to a rough paste.
    – Pour the oil for deep frying into pan over high heat.
    – Add the Dried chilli paste , Garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
    – Add The Pork Belly and mix well.
    – Add the Oyster Sauce, Fish Sauce and Sugar.
    -Add the Holy or Thai Basil, cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and serve.

  3. Not sure about where you are, but I can hardly ever source Thai basil
