While I have no doubt these taste good. These do not look quick or inexpensive or easy.
It requires 21 steps, that’s already a lot of steps for a cookie recipe. It requires deep frying peanuts which is always potentially dangerous and not something everyone can do without experience, especially children. And if you only do it once and don’t reuse the oil that’s expensive and wasteful. Lamination of the 3 layers like a crossisnt is fickle at best. careful hand cutting and twisting all things I wouldn’t consider easy (especially compared to a standard cookie dough). the video recipe is wasteful cutting the trimmings to make cosmetically perfect cookies, which doesn’t exactly fit the budget food ideals. A filled handmade twisted cookie is by no means quick.
They look delicious but I do not think they fit this subreddit.

Prepare more than 60 peanut cookies with few ingredients, easy, fast and very economical recipe
**- Ingredients:**
250 g of flour
250g peanuts
1/2 of Salt
2 tablespoons icing sugar
70g grated butter
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
80-100 ml of water
– Cooking:
bake at 170ºC for 20-25 minutes
**Instructions:**
1 – In a bowl, put 250 g of flour and 70 g of grated butter.
2- mix everything very well
3 – Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of icing sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla
4 Mix
5 – Add 80-100 ml of water
6 – Knead, cover and let stand 30 minutes
7 – Fry 250 g peanuts in oil
8 – Remove and drain the peanuts
9 – Crush the peanuts with 80 g of sugar in a food processor
10- Add 2-3 tablespoons of oils to the peanuts and mix until you get a homogeneous mass
11 – After 30 minutes of rest, divide the dough into 2 equal parts
12 – Stretch the 2 doughs and give them a rectangular shape
13 – Spread the peanut mixture on greaseproof paper and cover it with another paper
14 – Roll out the peanut mixture and give it a rectangular shape as with the dough
15 – Place the peanut mixture on the dough
16 – Place the other dough on the peanut mixture
17 – Cut 1 cm wide strips
18 – Cut into strips 5-6 cm long
19 – Roll the strip on itself 2 times
20 – Repeat this process with the rest of the strips
21 – Bake at 170ºC for approximately 20-30 minutes
