    Ingredients

    =================

    Refined Oil

    Garlic

    Onions

    Capsicum

    Salt

    Boiled Corn

    Boiled Potato

    Oregano seasoning

    Chili Flakes

    Dry roasted Besan (Gram Flour)

    Egg

    Cheese

    Butter

    Kashmiri Red Chili powder

    Preparation steps

    =================

    First I will shallow fry vegetables.

    Add 1 tablespoon of Refined Oil in pan and heat it. You can use Olive Oil also.

    Add 2 tablespoons of chopped Garlic and fry till it is brownish. Add 2 medium Onions chopped and fry till Onion is soft.

    Add 1 small Capsicum chopped, 1/2 teaspoon of Salt and 50 gms of boiled Corn. Shallow fry for 1 minute.

    Next, I will mash Potato. Peel off skin of 300 gms boiled Potato and mash the Potato.

    Add the fried vegetables in the mashed Potato. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Salt, 2 tablespoons of Oregano Seasoning, 2 tablespoon of Chili Flakes in the mashed Potato.

    Add 2 tablespoons of dry roasted Besan (Gram Flour) in the mashed Potato and mix well.

    Add 2 tablespoons of Refined Oil in the mixture. You can use Olive Oil also. Mix properly to make the Potato dough.

    Transfer the Potato dough on baking tray and make it round and little flat. Make a hole on the dough using a spoon to put Egg on the dough.

    Brush Refined Oil on the dough. You can use Olive Oil also.

    Crack an Egg and put on the dough. Add grated Cheese on the dough. Do not cover the Egg with Cheese.

    Next I will bake the Potato dough. Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 200 degree celsius.

    After 10 minutes preheat, place the Potato dough in oven and bake for 15 minutes at 200 degree celsius. After 15 minutes, Potato is well baked.

    Next I will prepare Butter and Red Chili sauce.

    I will take 1 teaspoon of Butter in a big round service spoon. I will add 1/2 teaspoon of Kashmiri Red Chili powder on the Butter.

    Next heat the Butter and it will melt. The Red Chili powder will mix in the melted Butter and will create nice Red Butter Chili sauce.

    Add the Red Butter Chili sauce on top of the baked Potato.

    The meal is ready. It looks gorgeous and tastes amazing.

  2. i love that this is essentially a vegan dish once you remove the cheese, butter and the egg.

    I’m going to make this but first want to think about what to put in the hole instead of an egg.

    For additional flavor, I usually boil my potatoes with a bay leaf, several garlic cloves and a few black peppercorns. I think that will work well with this recipe too.
