  1. Too good not to share. Quick to make, and quick to bake! However you will need a French bread pan like the one shown.

    Preheat oven to 375. Line pan with parchment.

    2 c almond flour
    1.25 c whey protein isolate (I used powder)
    1 tsp xanthan gym
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 c butter melted
    1/3 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
    1/2 c plus 2 TB water
    Salt (eyeball for your preference)

    Mix dry stuff, add wet stuff and stir together. Spread in loaf pan to shape like French bread. Bake 10-15, let cool for at least 5.

    We will see how it works as a sandwich, I just sliced a coin round and had it with butter! Lovely sub for crackers if you love pate!

  2. Its really cool that evwryone is exchanging ideas on how to make it work for them and stuff. I mostly like it cuz its a great base recipe and you can whip it up quick. The other bread recipies are great also, but some are time consuming for me. I made this for my work lunch today and its pretty good:)

  3. I will try this recipe with boiled water. I have been having success in getting rid of the gritty texture in almond flour recipes by using boiling water as the liquid. It releases the fat in the almond flour so it also needs less added fat.

  4. Very much appreciate your submission, but any and everything that’s supposed to be a keto-friendly ‘bread’ that has almond flour is a no for me dawg. It all ends up tasting like cornbread. To each their own.
