Ingredients
500 grams bread flour
14 grams yeast
400 ml water at room temperature
4 tsp caster sugar
2 tsp salt
30 ml olive oil for glazing as well
Handful of white sesame seeds
In a large mixing bowl, mix in the flour, sugar and salt.
Add the yeast in the middle and pour the water in. Mix everything together with your hands or in a hand mixer. You will have a wet and sticky dough.
Cover with cling film and leave to prove for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Flour the work surface with lots of flour to avoid the dough from sticking.
Tip the dough over. Knock down the dough and make into an oval shape of around 3cm high.
Place the dough on a grease proof paper and cover with a towel. Leave to prove for another hour. Preheat oven to 250 Degrees Celsius.
Make a dent round the dough using your fingertips. It should be around 3cm from the edge of the dough. Fill the dough with criss cross lines.
Using a brush, coat the top with olive oil. Sprinkle the sesame seeds. Bake for 10 minutes at 250 Degrees Celsius. Turn oven down to 200 Degrees Celsius and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
ENJOY!!
