My favorite Keto meal: Moroccan Lamb with Onions ( Salt, Cumin, Butter )

  1. This is my go to Keto meal. From my Moroccan background with a small modification.

    Ingredients:

    Lamb ( any cut is fine, I prefer chops )
    Onions
    ,Salt
    ,Cumin
    ,Butter or Olive Oil

    Preparation:

    I steam the Lamb with sliced onions in a steamer for 2h or 3h to make it super tender ( that’s the traditional way in my family during the Eid Adha celebration ).

    Then put it all on a pan with butter or olive oil, stir for 5 mins on each side until it’s golden brown. You might add sliced tomatoes but it’s optional ( depends on my mood lol ).

    Then you add cumin and salt at the end of cooking.

    Enjoy this simple but very yummy moroccan keto recipe. ??

  3. Does the onion not kick you out of keto? Onions are generally quite high in carbs.

    That aside, the meal looks delicious!!!

    Edit: I saw the recipe. 3 hours of slow cooking.
